Walter Halicki supports a non-for profit program “Send me on vacation”. So what is this about? This program was developed to help support women and their families experiencing the fight with cancer. Many women who have experienced treatment for cancer will tell you that when the physical aspects of the battle end, the emotional struggles begin. Walter Halicki shares that the adverse effects of the treatment can leave women, their families and friends devastated. They believe that an essential step in surviving this experience is to allow survivors a well-deserved vacation to CELEBRATE LIFE! Walter Halicki actively participates to help support this cause to help send participants on a trip which will be remembered even through difficult times.
Walter Halicki shares that this program is a non-for profit program which helps Cancer survivors who have gone “through treatment with a vacation” to help them revitalize. Their Mission: To provide a much needed vacation to women with cancer who have undergone treatment and need a place to rejuvenate and heal their body, mind and spirit. The vision of this program is to create a platform for cancer survivors were those in need (devastated by the costs of treatment) receives the opportunity to combine the process of emotional healing into their ‘holistic’ recovery plan to optimal health. They believe that a vacation is the catalyst to restoring, renewing and rejuvenating the body, mind and spirit. Walter Halicki believes that giving back and helping support a cause such as this is near and dear to him and hopefully by sharing information will help others to ensure that there are many programs out there that they can contribute to as well.
